Ensuring History Is Not So-Soon Forgotten

Our building will measure 30 feet by 50 feet, providing both indoor and outdoor spaces. Outside, there will be seating areas where friends and visitors can gather. Inside, the Centre will feature a workshop and meeting area, a historical library, a kitchen, a washroom, and artifact displays. This will be a venue for everyone from elders sharing their stories, to children learning about their roots.

This new centre will:

  • Celebrate our past
  • Connect our present
  • Create new memories for the future
  • Archive and preserve artifacts
  • Display our rich history
  • Provide space for learning and sharing
  • Host traditional and cultural activities for all ages
  • Connect students and seniors
  • Welcome tourists
